Terms of Service
Last updated
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ConnectiveNet (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to ConnectiveNet.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or bulk messages.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Interfere with, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data about other users without their permission.
- Engage in harassment, threats, hate speech, or any conduct that disparages or harms others.
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant ConnectiveNet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use Your Content solely as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to grant the license above and that Your Content does not violate these Terms or the rights of any third party.
5. Connections, events, and institutions
The Service lets you send connection requests, register for events, and join or create institutions. You acknowledge that other users and institution owners may approve, decline, or remove you at their discretion. ConnectiveNet is not responsible for the conduct or content of other users or organizations.
6. Fees
ConnectiveNet is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future and will give clear notice before any charges apply to you.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting connectivenetsupport@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or its users. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. ConnectiveNet does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at any particular time or location.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConnectiveNet and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to ConnectiveNet in the twelve months preceding the claim, and (b) one hundred US dollars (US $100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ConnectiveNet harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, or (c) your violation of these Terms or any law or right of a third party.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ConnectiveNet is established, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiations first, and failing that, in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you through the Service or by email at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact
